ORFC Update For 2006-2007

Information To Members.
Improvements To Facilities
Over the non-playing period this year the club will be:
- Re-surfacing the car park
- Improving the club hall with new flooring and a new ceiling and decoration. New tables and chairs and improved IT and presentation
Improvements To Senior Rugby
We will be recruiting from abroad players who wish to come to the UK for a season or two. The club will arrange accommodation and work with club members and the Job Centre to secure a position while playing rugby for the club.
On training nights we are planning to provide meal for the players who commit to the training programme.
Improvements To Social Facilities
We will be circulating a “flyer” around the village offering discounted social membership to the club. With bar prices at about 30% cheaper than other local establishments we hope to attract more social members.
We will be opening the club for the Football World Cup showing the games on a wide projection screen. The bar will be open and we would like to think that this would be well supported.
The club will commit to opening the bar regularly in the evening to serve players, supporters and social members.
The “newly” refurbished hall will be available for rental to local companies, for christenings and other events.
