Former Oxford Mini stars for Cardiff Blues

Tom Cooper starred as a centre for the Cardiff Blues U20 team who the won the Welsh cup final by beating the Ospreys 22-7 at Swansea, Tom set up a try and put in a couple of try saving tackles in what his coaches said was his best performance of the season for them. Tom came through the ranks of the Oxford Mini & Junior section from the age of 8 through to Colts last season. He captained the team for several season as a skilful fly half and helped Oxford win their first Oxfordshire Junior Cup Final as an U15 in 2002, he then moved to centre and starred in the Colts side that won both the Oxfordshire Colts Cup and OBB Tens title in successive seasons.
He is now studying at Cardiff University and occasionally turns out for the Harlequins SW1 team when back in Oxford.
