Cup News and Round 2 Draw

Slow Starters Romp Home

Oxford Harlequins overcame a very combatant Paignton side on Saturday to earn their place in Round 2 of the National Knock-Out Trophy. Tries from Beau Wilson, Andy Henley, Anthony Cope, Pierre Lafayeedney and conversions and penalties coming from Frank Jones (Former Oxford Player Kevin Jones Son).

Unfortunately debutant Mark Herbert broke his leg during the 1st half of the game and is currently awaiting surgery. We would like to wish him a speedy recovery and also thank the opposition for their fantastic support on the day.

Oxford struggle at Centralians

A weakened Oxford team struggled away to Old Centralians on Saturday losing 49-5. Oxford were without some key players in the back-line and this severely hampered their attacking capabilities.
